Disappointing the dysonites

We did buy a vacuum over the weekend. Alissa knows me too well. I headed to Sears armed with the Consumer Reports ratings. I pushed around a couple vacuums Friday night, but wasn't ready to buy. I looked up some more info that night and went to bed thinking I was going to buy a $300 Kenmore (rated #1 and #2 depending on bag/bagless). I woke up feeling differently. Do you have any idea how few things in our house cost more than $300? A vacuum couldn't be in the top 5 of our most valuable possessions. I think we'd have to take out another insurance policy if I bought a dyson.

I went with the #4 rated Eureka Boss SmartVac.

"A CR Best Buy. Highest performance for the dollar. Excelled at most cleaning, but hard to pull."

Well said. Maybe I'll upgrade in another 5 years or so.
