alright, enough whiningHere's what I'm looking for- brown shoes that are comfortable enough so that I can wear them for a week straight. They need to be mostly but not entirely casual, so I can wear them everywhere, and also feel okay in a nice restaurant or museum.
My top choice so far-
more plain, but more plain
not the ideal brown, but I like something about them (also comes with red stitching)
so not practical, but I heart them

Shopping for shoes online can be so frustrating, but I think it's even worse to wander the whole mall with Howie in tow trying on everything I see. The problem with all of these is that they come in European sizes. I've never owned or even tried on a pair of European shoes in my life. I know I'm probably a 41-42, but have no idea, really. I guess it's off to the mall to see if I can find any of these to actually try on. I had hoped to get this done yesterday, maybe tomorrow we'll be up for an outing.

love love LOVE the red ones. Really. No idea on European sizing. I have never purchased shoes for myself online and haven't paid attention to those I've purchased in-store. But please, buy the red!!
I love red shoes. I think it has something to do with my father telling me that only whores wore red shoes.
my vote is for the first pair. they're the ones i would buy. where're they from? i need myself a new pair of brown shoes!
I really like the first ones, but think the red ones are more you, style-wise. Your nephew would also like more picts of Howie.

GO WITH THE RED!!!!! You will never regret it. I have three pairs of red shoes and I wear them with EVERYTHING! They make me happy when I look at them. And with the styles right now, nothing needs to be matchy-matchy. As far as European goes, my friend bought a pair of shoes thinking they were an eight, but they fit my 9 1/2 clodhoppers. There has to be a size comparassion chart online somewhere.
I also love the first ones and the red ones. My solution? Get one of each! (This is why Steve hates me).
