Roughly 3 minutes
the amount of time it took a very sleepy boy to realize that-1. the bedroom door was ajar, and
2. there was nothing keeping him in bed.
Life as we know it has changed. Maybe we shouldn't have given away our crib. Of course, if I want to lock him in the room to see if he'll take a nap on his own, perhaps I should actually close the door.
Coincidentally, 3 minutes was also the approximate amount of time it took for him to drift off once he found my lap.
