thwarted
I had hoped to catch a flight and take Howie to visit my family for a few days. We spent a couple hours at the airport this morning, but the first flight was completely full. The next flight was over-sold by 3 and the last flight of the day was sold out as well. There were also 9 other people on the standby list, so I just scrapped the trip rather than spend all day in the airport with little chance of getting out.Who the hell wants to go to South Dakota on a Thursday? Apparently 153 people who are willing to pay the fare, plus 10 more trying to go for free.

Just looked at the garden, next month will be better. Five rows of peas. Should have plenty by the time you get here. Still wish you could have come yesterday.
