onto phase 2 of furniture borrowing
If you'll remember when we last left the story, we decided not to buy new couches on the same day that we learned that Matt's job was ending. We've been sitting on a double camp chair since then. We thought that was fine, but we were wrong. We now have some nice and comfy seating options, which is about 100 times better than what we were using. Char and BC, aka some of the nicest people we know, are letting us borrow a couch and chair until we feel better about making that size of puchase.Seriously, if not the most generous, they are definitely in the top 5 of people we know. We've also borrowed their lawnmower for an extended period to get the weeds under control in our newly seeded backyard and they provided the bulk of vehicles, manpower and organizational skills when we moved last year (and that's just one of several moves I've been part of for which they did that). That's not even counting little things like hauling me and Howie around for playdates or just having nice things to say.
Yay for Char and BC! They're nice, they're funny, and they have great kids. With friends like these, who cares if we have enemies? - sorry, I usually leave the cliché butchering to Matt.

Hoorah for great friends! I'm so glad you don't have to sit on that camping "love-seat" any longer. Though I do recall you napping in my backyard on one a few years back. It was uncomfy I'm sure, but you do love a good nap in the sun, Aye?
I would also like to express my appreciation to Char and BC. The campchair is great in front of a campfire, but in front of the tv it just doesn't cut it. Thank you in advance for making the many nights lounging after work possible.
Knowing Char and BC I can second their generosity. They're the best!
Char and BC seem like nice people. Great that they're helping you out and you have somewhere comfy to sit! :)
So what if the couch is purple, er "eggplant", right?
Yay for great friends and great seating :)
What great friends! And I think eggplant sounds like a perfect color for a borrowed couch. I would be too afraid to buy one that color, but to try one in such a fun, funky shade would be, well, fun!
gotta love those two. seriously good people. sorry to see your camp chair go. i thought it looked good :p
Evil for sure. But so so nice! I have been a recipient of their generosity as well and well, you just can't find nicer people.
Enjoy!
only 1/12 evil, Liss.
