the plot thickens
I sent an email to the seller of the Pooh movie after reading your comments here and learning that it wouldn't play on our computers. I stated that I wanted to take advantage of the satisfaction guarantee and inquired whether the refund would include shipping costs and if return postage would be necessary. Here's the reply: yes it does, yo do not have to send it back as it is defectivewell, yay! and crap! I got all my money back, but what do I do now? I was expressing my frustration to Matt and he didn't see the problem because he felt no one was profiting. I had to disagree, because we are in fact profiting. We have a mostly functional copy of Howie's favorite show for which we didn't pay and which was reproduced illegally. to throw it away would just be wasteful. right? um, right?

oooooooooooh. good luck with that. i still haven't been back to the children's place to pay the 15% off they gave me twice. maybe tomorrow for date night?
good hell, Valarie. Just keep the movie!
:)
I think ot throw it away would be wastful!
Just toss the thing and tell the kid it "broke." Better to do without than have it reminding you of your HORRIBLE SIN. ;)
I had a friend across the street from me who told her kids their toys were "broken" when the batteries ran out, so they'd have to "throw them away." I've done the same thing with various videos... "Sorry, honey, I don't know where it 'went'..."
Agreed...just let it hang around.
Try explaining to the kid that it "broke".....hmmm, wouldn't that be lying and just as deceitful? Keep the movie, keep the kid happy.....and donate the money you get back.
