Two silhouettes on the shade
at 1:07 Saturday morning I could see the outline against the window of Matt swaying with Howie on his shoulder, just like he had done so often in Howie's first year. The whimpering boy and smell of spilled cherry mylanta told me one thing: we failed the
dairy test. Damn. I was so enjoying my reunion with good desserts.

Aww, poor kid and poor mom and dad. Failed challenges are always hard to get over, sigh.
Poor Howie! What a good dad, though.
Poor Howie!
Boo for no more good desserts. :(
I do think that is a wonderful sight. A loving dad taking care of his young child who is not feeling well. I feel bad that they weren't sleeping, but what a great memory. You have a great guy Val!
